The Head of Finance and Operations is responsible for the management of Working Chance’s financial, operational, reporting, IT and fundraising pipeline, including reporting and KPI performance.

The successful candidate will work directly with the Chief Executive and is a key member of the senior leadership team, contributing to the strategic direction of the organisation.

Pathways to Independence – Service Manager

We need an experienced and committed person to manage the end to end resettlement journey for our clients from supported to independent lives. You should have a good understanding of the needs and risks of working with ex-offenders. Ideally, you will have previous experience of delivering a supported housing service to single adults. You will carry out interviews and assessments in prisons and probation offices and liaise closely with offender managers and referring agencies. You will need to be prepared to work as a lone worker.

Salary: £23,489 – £27,095 pa plus pension (currently 3% employer contribution)

Redthread is well established within London’s Major Trauma Network hospitals and we are very excited to be setting up our first service outside the capital in Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham in February 2018, and in Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Heartlands Hospital in Birmingham from July 2018. We are looking for an outstanding individual with strong leadership skills, experience of managing and developing a service, proven ability to work with high risk, vulnerable young people, and the ability to form effective working relationships with a wide range of partners and agencies.

St Mungo’s – Donor Development Officer

You will be responsible for reviewing and delivering a high value donor stewardship strategy to significantly increase the volume, loyalty, engagement and income from our high value donors within our existing individual giving programme (cash and committed giving). You will also lead relationships with high value donors, ensuring they receive appropriate and where possible, more personalised communications and engagement opportunities, as part of our wider direct marketing activity.

To succeed, you will be an effective project manager, capable of juggling a busy and varied workload, with great attention to detail. You may have had experience of running events, account management and report writing. You will also need to be a great communicator, team player and proactive networker.

Salary: £27,648 - £31,142
